We all find ourselves in extraordinary circumstances, coming together to ensure the health and safety of our families, students and communities as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to escalate. The health and safety of our big families in AIS is our top priority.
To support efforts underway to slow the spread of the virus, AIS has taken an action to disinfect the school environment on Thursday, March 19, 2020. Together with the Indonesia Red Cross (Palang Merah Indonesia), all classes, rooms, fields, and even toilets in AIS have been disinfected.
The Chairman of Asshodriyah Islamic School Foundation, Mr Haikal Shodri said the disinfectant sprayers are part of an overall effort to keep buildings as clean as possible. He has asked the custodial staff to pay special attention in their cleaning to office and class areas and to surfaces touched by many hands, like handrails, door knobs, light switches and other school equipments.
We are all living through a time of great uncertainty when we do not know exactly what will come in the weeks and months ahead. During these times, it is as important as ever to lean into what matters most and what inspires all of the work and service we do to AIS big family.
It is our privilege to serve our big family and we look forward to seeing you back in the school soon.
